FRANCIS CRICK INSTITUTION PROJECT 2016
We were contracted through Ruddy Joinery to carry out the specialist filling and spray-painting of a canopy at the Francis Crick Institution. This was to be situated in the front reception, a massive undertaking by all parties involved.
The Canopy
The canopy itself is a GRP (Fiber Glass) product, it was erected in separate parts, and the brief was to fill the joints, screw holes and any impurities leaving the impression of one solid canopy with an immaculate finish.
The Finishing touch
Finished by priming and applying a topcoat. This was an intricate job and took a lot of advanced planning, preparation and an eye for detail.

Garage Door transformation
Before
From the initial enquiry we were able to ascertain a clear and concise brief. This was to repair, restore, prepare and spray a garage door. On the initial site visit the client advised that they wanted the garage door to be match their existing front door. Our colour-matching specialist relayed the brief to the paint manufacturer and the paint produced.
After
Onsite our specialist team prepared the surface. Surfaces were masked to ensure paint areas are kept clean, and non-paint areas are not affected. The garage door had to be cleaned, primed and prepped for the initial coat. Once the desired colour was achieved the job was complete.
